Meath Crash, Man Dead, Ashbourne, Rath
A 32-year-old man has died following a collision in Co Meath last night.
The incident involving a van and a lorry happened at about 9.05pm on the N2 at The Rath, which is just outside of Ashbourne.
The van driver was seriously injured in the incident and taken to James Connolly Memorial hospital in Blanchardstown where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The N2 was closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination after the collision but
has re-opened.
